23 September 2024 - Thione Niang, co-founder of the Akon Lighting Africa initiative, presented efforts to address Africa energy crisis at a special panel organized by Africa 2030, a platform set up by the l’avant-garde Network and Gobee Group. He focused his remarks on the objectives and motivations of the 3 cofounders when they launched the project, results to date and the specific of the prefinancing model developed by company Solektra international, the main partner of Akon Lighting Africa.
