I have great interest in this project (lighting Africa through SOLAR
ENERGY). We started similar project in my country (Liberia) in 2013. We
planted few samples within the capital city Monrovia in area duly
selected by the Public Works Ministry.
Those samples planted are currently functional, yet stay our government
didn’t see reason at the time to invest in solar energy.
With this project “LIGHTING AFRICA” and your success story in
eleven(11) African country including our immediate neighbors ( GUINEA
AND SIERRA LEONE) , I will be very happy to see similar project been
undertaken in my country LIBERIA.
We need this SOLAR ENERGY. If you happen to visit clinics or hospitals,
police stations and immigration offices at the border in the rural part
of LIBERIA and see how their function is hampered or impeded by the lack
of power supply, you will get to realized we need it more the one can
imagine.
